“I, Fischl, Prinzessin der Verurteilung, descend upon this land by the call of fate…”
Table of Contents
Preface
Hoyoverse’s Prinzessin der Verurteilung is one of the game’s most iconic faces. With her unique personality and her noble companion, Oz, she takes to the field as a staple in many Electro teams, providing a plethora of buffs and utility to her teammates.
Overview
Pros
- Provides many forms of utility for Electro teams, such as buffs and QTE access.
- Has considerable personal damage once invested in.
- Very versatile. Most, if not all, Electro teams rely on her to hold them together.
- Oz is a fast attacker, meaning she makes short work of Hitcount checks.
Cons
- Requires significant investment to have a strong performance.
- Reliant on gear to truly shine.
- Said gear is gacha only.
“I hear the voice of fate, speaking my name in humble supplication…”
Fischl vs. Other Electro supports
Fischl’s utility is unique to her and cannot be compared to other characters. Other options such as Eden – Golden Diva and Rita – Fallen Rosemary cannot replace her and are, in fact, somewhat reliant on her to enable them.
Energy Requirements
Fischl’s ultimate is on the more costly side, as it requires 100 Energy to activate. However, Fischl has relatively easy access to Energy generation as she goes up in ranks. At SSS her QTE restores 16 SP*, while Oz restores 3.5-4.5 SP** (+2-3 extra SP)*** after ultimate cast. All of this combined ensures that Fischl has sufficient uptime for her ultimate during fights, regardless of Energy pack drops.
Notes:
* QTE can be triggered once every 12 seconds
** Per basic/special attack
*** SP skill
“Hm-hm, may the glory of the Prinzessin bring light to this world.”
Skills
Evernight Suite
Team deals 6-15% bonus Total DMG through ranged ATKs and deals 16-28% bonus Elemental DMG.
A simple damage buff providing teammates with bonus TD on ranged attacks and an unconditional Ele DMG buff.
Shrieking Shaft
Provides Fischl with Interruption Resistance and Entwined Arrowhead.
Entwined Arrowhead
The moment when the active skill of a bow weapon hits an enemy, tapping {ATK} triggers QTE.
Fischl’s second unique skill, allowing her to trigger her own QTE.
Shadow Step
Traditional set of Evasion related skills. Provides CD reduction and an extra source of damage. Can be ignored.
Charged ATK: Nightrider
Hold [ATK} to summon Oz to aid in battle. (Also enhances Fischl’s Basic ATK while present, which is irrelevant because Oz is the real carry.)
One of only two ways to summon Oz to the field, very useful to start rotations with or when Ultimate isn’t available. Misses Ultimate’s utility and buffs.
Raven Roam
Simply Oz’s duration on the field, max it out.
Sanctifying Choir
Every Basic ATK from Oz restores Energy for Fischl.
An Energy generation ability that allows Fischl to have consistent Ultimate uptime.
Midnight Phantasmagoria
Summons Oz with a plethora of buffs. Fischl’s most important ability.
Formation Breaker
Casting Ultimate boosts team’s Electro DMG and Oz’s Electro DMG.
One of her most important buffs for both her team and her own personal damage. Highly recommended to prioritise levelling.
Sublime Dream
For 15s after casting Ultimate, Oz’s Basic/Special ATKs restore Energy for Fischl.
Another Energy generation ability. Did you know it lets her maintain consistent Ultimate uptime?
Bolts of Downfall
Basic attack string, doesn’t really matter since Fischl doesn’t use her basic attacks.
QTE: Thundering Execution
Triggered when an enemy is Time-Slowed to deal Electro DMG, inflicts Electro resistance shred on enemies hit.
Fischl’s strongest single buff. Vulnerability is a rare debuff and is often undiluted, making it incredibly potent compared to %DMG buffs. Highly recommended to prioritise levelling this ability.
“Oz, reveal thyself!”
Talent Priority
Prioritise Ultimate, Special, QTE, and SP skills. Everything else is irrelevant/low priority.
“Dusk and dawn but fleeting shadows are. Once more, the twists of fate have led you into my everlasting night…”
Ranks
Basic Valkyrie, very mediocre as it does not provide most of Fischl’s utility except the Electro resistance shred from her QTE.
The bare minimum constellation required, unlocking her buffing potential from using Ultimate and provides additional Energy generation. At this point, Fischl begins to have an identity as a dedicated Electro support.
The sweet spot between power and farming comfort. Increases Oz’s duration from a maximum of 12s to 30s, making rotations smoother and more consistent. Recommended to get to this constellation at least for an overall smooth experience.
The final constellation that unlocks Fischl’s full potential. Provides her more Energy generation and a slight increase to buffing power.

Gear
Weapons
Weapon | Notes |
![]() Mitternachts Waltz | Fischl’s very own Signature 4* weapon. Provides her with a significant damage boost as well as a team wide Electro DMG buff. This damage boost is enough to make her a large portion of the team’s overall DPS. |
![]() Cerulean Flare | A universal weapon that was given to players for free in version 5.6, and has since been made a gacha exclusive. This weapon falls behind Mitternachts Waltz except in teams where Energy generation is more important than Fischl’s personal damage. This bow provides the carrier with 30 Energy upon entry and a small teamwide Total DMG buff. This bow’s weapon active allows the player to consume 30 Energy from the carrier in order to drop an Energy pack upon hitting an enemy weakspot. Consuming Energy pack restores 15 Energy for the team. |
![]() Call of Crescent | The only free to play bow that players have access to and can craft in the Foundry. However, the weapon’s stats and buffs do not justify wasting resources to craft it. It is only on this list to point out the need to avoid it. |
![]() Light String | The standard 3* bow. Nothing much to say about it, use it if you don’t have either Mitthernachts Waltz or Cerulean Flare. |
Stigmata Sets
Stigmata | Notes |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wang Zhenyi | Fischl’s Signature 4* stigmata and her uncontested BiS. This stigmata allows Fischl to be both a fantastic support and dish out meaningful damage at the same time. Requires at least the 2 piece effect, but ideally all 3 pieces of the set. The bottom piece is crucial, followed by the top piece, and finally the middle piece. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Turgenev | The all-around generalist Queen of elemental stigmata. The 2 piece effect can be used on any elemental support and Fischl is no exception. Second best set after 3 piece Zhenyi. The bottom piece is the most important piece, followed by the top piece The middle piece should be ignored as it is not relevant to Fischl. Aim for Turgenev TB and pair it with any of the middle pieces on the list. |
![]() ![]() Fu Hua Musician (MB) | A generalist support set due to the 2 piece effect providing 10% Total DMG to the team when the carrier leaves the field. Can be crafted in the Foundry and is recommended as early game/transitional equipment. |
![]() Theresa: Gluttony (T) | Provides the team with an extra 0.5-1m longer pick-up range. In addition, every second or successful hit grants 1 stack. At 12 stacks, the next enemy hit drops a candy. Picking up a candy will provide the team with an 8-16% bonus Total DMG buff for 5s, this effect is increased to 12-24% upon picking up another candy during the original’s duration (picking up second candy will refresh duration). 12 stacks are given upon stage entry. Recommended for early game/transitional equipment. Can be crafted from the Foundry (with a limit of 1 per day). |
![]() Tesla Band (M) | Provides a 5-15% Electro buff to the team after the carrier exits the field. One of the most consistent options for the middle slot. |
![]() Beach Party Mei (M) | Also commonly referred to as Pool Party Mei or PPM. A powerful stigmata that provides the host with 12-18% Total DMG. In addition, enemies attacked by the host take a further 10-15% Total DMG. This debuff lasts 4s with 8s CD and can be activated by Oz while Fischl is off-field. Potent, but requires timing your rotation to maximise use of it. It is strictly worse than Tesla Band unless you can time your rotation. |
![]() Isaac Newton (B) | Provides the team with a 28-41% Total DMG Multiplier buff for 5s when the carrier attacks an enemy. Very powerful but requires some timing. |
Stigmata Set Priority
3 piece Zhenyi > 2 piece Turgenev > Gluttony (T) + Beach party Mei (M) + Isaac Newton (B)> Zhenyi (TB) > Gluttony (T) Fu Hua Musician (MB)
Substat Priority
Due to her reliance on her Ultimate, Fischl will want 1-2 SP/s lines from her substats as her priority, followed by ATK lines.

Teams
Character/s | Notes |
![]() Raiden | The current go-to Electro DPS with the widest coverage. Raiden got a major power upgrade with the release of her new signature weapon, as well as having her stamps added to the Elysian Realm shop, giving her damage a significant quality of life boost as well as added damage. This coupled with her excellent Paralyse trauma application allows Raiden to claim top scores on SSS Bright Knight, as well as Abyss Bright Knight and Electro weather RPC-6266. She competes with other meta units on both QUA and Electro weathers, such as Husk Nihilus, Kosma, Tonatiuh, and MHT-3B. |
![]() Mobius | The undisputed queen of mobbing due to her Link mechanic, which shares damage dealt to one enemy with other enemies. Due to this, Mobius is primarily an Abyss valkyrie with top scores on Andrius (both SSS and Abyss), and Homu boss. She can be used on Abyss Bright Knight as well. |
![]() Aponia | The first passive gameplay DPS valkyrie. Aponia’s unique kit allows her to spend most of her time off-field, much like Fischl. As such, teams that use these two units often use Eden on-field. Aponia claims top scores on Husk Nihilus (both SSS and Abyss) and Abyss Li Sushang. She sees some use on SSS Andrius and False God Otto, but fails to claim top scores there. |
![]() ![]() Three Supports | As the name indicates, this team comprises 3 supports – namely Fallen Rosemary (Rita), Golden Diva (Eden), and the Prinzessin herself. Depending on the content, players will use either Fallen Rosemary or Golden Diva as the on-field unit. While not the best option for top scores, this setup is comfortable enough to retain most Electro/QUA content in Red Lotus. |
